Tonight Show - Do Not Play List
Now, it's obvious that the true gem of the list is "Here Kitty, Kitty!". Objectively speaking, that's absolutely true. But I need a Wawa hoagie.

Tonight Show - David Blaine
David Blaine appears on the Tonight Show to do...uh(?)....magic(?).... magic tricks(?) Is this magic?
All I know for sure is that my impersonation of him and my impersonation of the host of "Cheaters" are pretty much the same person.

Tonight Show - Freestylin' with The Roots
I'll be honest, this edition felt a little weak to me. That is, until yacht rock made an appearance. There's nothing like spontaneously created smooth music.

Tonight Show - Bachelor Reenactment
For those that missed the high drama that is "The Bachelor", Tariq and Questlove reenact the pivotal scene. Be warned: this is intense.
There's something else I'd like to see. Interspersed with all the scenes in these "reality" shows is always the participants speaking directly to the camera. They could incorporate those as Shakespearean soliloquies. One stands up, gets a spotlight and delivers their lofty dialogue.

Tonight Show - David Blaine
Why are The Roots "helping out" for the David Blaine magic segment? I think it's because they know exactly what they're doing.
It's funny, then, that Jimmy is still the most expressive.

In the Air Tonight
I'm not a huge fan of "In the Air Tonight". I've heard it too many times on the radio and find myself mostly bored.
But the key here is that for this performance, Collins was going to be backed up by The Roots and Questlove was extremely nervous about having to play the most famous drum fill of all time. Check out desk chat for Monday and Tuesday to hear him talk about how nervous he was. And to increase the pressure, the show dedicated a camera (or several) specifically to focus on him.
"If you mess that drum fill..."
"I'm done."
So here it is.

Magic with The Roots
The Roots are always good for a tremendous reaction shot. I'd like to see an entire act with them. The venue would need really great fire exits.
Here's a previous appearance which elicits a similar reaction.

Classic Roots Choice #29
Well, sure, we should be a bit further than 29 at this point. This series took quite a hit at a certain point. It also doesn't help that there's no easy way to show the actual video (as is the case here).
Danny DeVito was on The Tonight Show to promote "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" so The Roots played the most Philadelphia song out there... the Action News Theme.
The only way to see it is by watching the full episode and even then, there's not much to see - it's a song after all. There's an article about the event here.

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas, everyone. For this Christmas, I will be posting Jimmy Fallon and The Roots (together with a children's choir) singing "Christmas Time is Here" from my favorite, "A Charlie Brown Christmas".
Unfortunately, it's not on youtube, only hulu and hulu is really finicky with embedding videos for some reason.
Does this work? Do you see anything? Is it a merry yule loggy time now?
*Sigh* the internet.
Anyways, here's video #2 in case that one doesn't work.
Self-explanatory:

Tonight Show - Freestylin' With The Roots
This episode of Freestylin' with The Roots seems short - only 2 songs and 6 minutes - but it's good.
The first guest, Michael Keaton, argued that "Side Dish" should be released as a single.

Tonight Show - Wolf Waker Suggestion Box
The HWolf HWaker returns...
The Wolf Waker awoke with a spasm, instinctively reaching for his harmonic spear. But the trusty weapon was gone. He blinked... then blinked again. All around him was a plain, white void, featureless and infinite.
The last thing he remembered was searing quasar beams melting the diamond coating of his command module and the vacuum of space, itself, on fire. Perhaps the Androgen Codex had been correct, after all. For the first time in his life, the Wolf Waker felt trapped, dizzy and impermanent.
He began piecing together what would be the greatest escape of his life and ultimately the salvation of Habitat 9.
Behold the call of the Wolf Waker...

The Tonight Show - Jimpire
It turns out that the behind the scenes of The Tonight Show are very similar to the show "Empire". I don't know why. See for yourself in this episode of "Jimpire".
