Letterman Teaser Trailer

Netflix has released a teaser trailer for David Letterman's new talk show "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction".

Episodes will be released on Netflix and will come out 1 per month. The first episode "airs" January 12 with guest Barack Obama.

On a personal note, I find myself disinterested. I was never watching the Late Show for the interviews. I really respect and appreciate Letterman's interview style and so I imagine, as interview shows go, this will be among the best. But I've also come to the point of celebrity culture saturation where I don't want to know more about Jay-Z, I don't want to know more about George Clooney, I don't care. I couldn't care less. And so I don't know what I'll do about this particular show.

MST3K New Season Trailer

It just so happens that April 13th Rifftrax's viewing of "Samurai Cop" comes to theaters and then the new season of Mystery Science Theater 3000 is released on Netflix on April 14th. Not just the first episode, the entire season. And then Red Letter Media has a screening of "Samurai Cop" on April 16th but in 2011. Still a weird coincidence, if you ask me.

Netflix just released the trailer for the new season. Nothing very exciting, in my eyes. It's all about the movies and the jokes for me.

Aaaand Neil Breen's Got a New One

A new one?? How does he do it?!

Here's the trailer for Neil Breen's new (I don't mind pre-emptively calling it a) masterpiece, "Pass-Thru"...

Neil, you had me at the thumbnail.

Red Letter Media has released a new highlight video where Rich Evans describes the plot of one of Neil Breen's previous films, "Double Down".

NSFW.

And while we're on the subject of Red Letter Media and Trailers. Here's Jay's review of the new "Ghostbusters" trailer. He has a unique and interesting take on what we should expect...

Peanuts Teaser Trailer

This caught me by surprise...

Let's face it, there are a million ways that they'll screw this up... but for the time being, I'm excited.

The Watch Trailer on Conan

Vince Vaughn makes a surprise appearance on Conan to show the trailer to his new film "The Watch".

The thing I'm most excited about is not Vince Vaughn or Ben Stiller or Jonah Hill. The most exciting thing is that Moss from "The IT Crowd" is in a movie with Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill. OK, his real name is Richard Ayoade but he's Moss.

Less exciting is the new aspect of the movie that I hadn't heard of before: aliens. A Neighborhood Watch movie is a funny concept... A Neighborhood Watch movie where they fight aliens is just puzzling. Still, I'm looking forward to it.

True Grit Trailer

The Coen Brothers have made another movie starring Jeff Bridges. Is it "The Big Lebowski 2"? No, not quite.

Here's the trailer:

Snap. I'm looking forward to it. It's a perfect trailer in that it gives you a sense of the movie but is completely vague in every respect. I felt the 30 commercial was even better but couldn't find that online. Apparently the movie is a remake of an old John Wayne film. Fortunately for me, I haven't seen that movie so I still don't know what to expect.

Avatar II Trailer

I wasn't a huge fan of "Avatar" - I found it to be a good movie but not quite as amazing or revolutionary as a lot of other people found it to be.

But judging by the early teaser trailer, "Avatar II" is looking like something to get excited about.
